Una tarra ci hè is one of the A Filetta ensemble’s most beautiful productions; it came out in 1994 and subsequently won the Grand Prix of the Académie Charles Cros.
Consisting mainly of songs made polyphonic by vocal arrangements for the group, it is full of acoustic orchestrations which include guitars, cetara, pivana, traditional violins, oriental percussion instruments and a string quartet. The texts evoke Corsica: its history, beliefs, doubts, fears and also its dreams for the future through a generous and sometimes entrancing poetry which is full of imagery.
